Prepaid Cellular phoneswhy not save some money! Mike YeagerPrepaid cellular phone means you pay in advance for your monthly anytime minutes that you will be using. It has the flexibility and freedom to stay in touch while also staying within your budget, especially for the students. Its good choice only for occasional use since they are more expensive than monthly billed cellular phone plans. Nevertheless, it eliminates the need for constant calls to customer service representatives to determine the number of minutes remaining in a monthly plan. Many first time cellular users regret not using pre paid cellular phone services.

Prepaid cellular phones are the best solution for someone with poor or no credit history. It allows you the freedom to have a cellular phone but with none of the hassles - no credit check, no contracts and things like that. It still has a lot of options that a regular plan do; such as, account activities, transaction, airtime balancewhich shows how many minutes you use, how many minutes are left and when you need to purchase and redeem more airtime, so you control your costs.

Prepaid cellular phones are usually good as the minutes that are unused rolls over to the following month. Surveys indicate that there are currently fifty five thousands new cellular phone activations a day. So when you shop and compare prepaid cellular phone services, make sure you find a plan that matches your calling pattern.

How often do you need to talk and for how long? Check a few months worth of phone bills to give you a general idea. You might be surprised just how much time you use. But if your usage varies widely every month, look for a plan that lets you retain, or "roll," your unused minutes. And when will you be placing calls? The ever-popular nights and weekends? Or the more usual weekday 9 to 5? Companies are much more willing to give deals on low-priority calling times, but that doesn't help if you need the phone for business hours.

Before you buy youll also want to examine your calling patterns. If you need a prepaid cellular phone to call across town to keep in touch with your family, you'll have much different needs -- and expenses -- than someone who is using the phone for business while traveling.

If you have any Antique Clocks...keep them. They may be valuable keepsakes!

Been shopping for antique clocks lately? Its strange that when something is new they are fascinating and cutting edge. Then they become a common place. After a century or so, they become rare, untouchable museum pieces or antiques. An antique clock is not different. It acts as a representation of the time past, a reflection of the culture transformed. Or it may just look great!

Antique clocks may be bought for several reasons. Perhaps to recreate an era, possibly as an investment or just to enhance the aesthetic value of a wall. Antique grand father clocks are one of the things that can be bought, provided there is space; lots and lots of space. A good place for an antique clock would be a castle or a mansion of course, but isnt your home also your castle. If one has a romantic bent, one could purchase antique French clocks.

Having antique clocks at home is not without its share of problems. The fact that they are old and require maintenance and care can be a source of challenges. For instance, they may stop reading accurate time. Either running few minutes (or even a few hours ahead) or simply slowing down to a stop. A good idea would be to have a shop near by that provides maintenance and, of course, This will insure that your antique clocks are well kept and functioning smoothly.

Metal Candle Holders For The Antique Collector

Metal candle holders offer antique collectors and decorators unique pieces of art for the home while being functional as well. Hand crafted metal candle holders are popular among artisan collectors for the varied material they are made of. For decorators, metal candle holders make a perfect tool for decorating any room of the house. Metal candle holders are also great decorations for the holidays to dress up the table or fireplace mantel.

The art of making candle holders started out as a necessity when candles provided the only source of light in homes. These early examples of metal candle holders remain prized possessions for those who collect candle holders and antiques. During the Colonial period metal candle holders were used for lighting the home and for telling time. One story tells of a spiral shaped metal candle holder that was used when a young girl would have her boyfriend visit the family home. The candle holder held a long tapered candle and would be lit when the boy arrived at the house. When the candle burned down to a certain length, the girl?s suitor was expected to leave. Old examples of metal candle holders were usually made of forged iron or heavy tin. Many of these collectible pieces still exist today and are relatively inexpensive to collect.

Although metal candle holders were once a necessity, they now serve more as beautiful pieces of art in d?cor in homes all around the world. Metal candle holders, whether made with a simple tin can or forged iron are also practical because they are much more durable and less prone to breakage. Most wrought iron metal candle holders can be purchased relatively inexpensively. Metal candle handles can also be found adorned with ornate decorations such as beaded chains, crystals and other gems.

Candle holders made out of metal are crafted from a wide variety of metal materials including bronze, iron, brass, sterling silver, aluminum, silver, steel and wrought iron. The sizes of metal candle holders vary as well, according to their intended use. Some candle holders are large and hold many candles that can light up an entire room. Others are smaller types designed to hold one tapered candle. Less popular, but still very desirable among decorators are forged iron candelabras.

Metal candle holders made of iron are very popular as decorative pieces today. These candle holders are often made by hand or are of forged or hammered iron. These handcrafted items offer quality, durability, uniqueness, and value. Artisans who make these metal candle holders out of iron make these pieces one at a time using the centuries old process of heating the metal in fire and hammering it into the desired shape or configuration.

Metal candle holders can be found all over the world. New pieces are easily located at almost any store that carries decorative items for the home. Both large and small metal candle holders are made in all shapes and sizes. Look for handmade metal candle holders at arts and crafts fairs where artisans sell their unique pieces of art.

Ezholders specializes in holders of all types of candle holder resources.

Langeais - Home of an antique Chateau

Langeais is famous by its interesting Chateau and the history existing within its walls.

This Chateau constantly attracts visitors from all points of the world, who approach willing to observe its architectural structure, its artistic ornaments, and learn about its history while walking by around its rooms.

The Chateau of Langeais, built during the XV century, is one of the oldest of its kind within the entire region of Loire Valley. This way, it is a must for those tourists who enjoy meeting antique constructions due not only to its age but also to the great shape in which it is conserved to the date. Besides the construction itself, this Chateau also allows tourists to observe several art related elements from the Renaissance and other antique poques as well as other elements such as, for example, furniture pieces.

The Langeais castle shows an appearance of strength and militarily designed structure mixed with a few delicate ornaments. It has a draw bridge typical from the poque in which was built, and the overall external appearance is of simplicity rather than counting with much ornaments or being over charged any other elements.

Within its interior, Langeais Chateau shows a different style than its exterior does. Within the interior of this castle, there are many structural elements and ornaments typical from the Renaissance as well as many furniture pieces dating from as long ago as the XVI century as well. This way, meeting this castle's interior and walking around its rooms can be very interesting and allows tourists to almost feel like being back into the poque in which these objects where created.

Among the different elements and objects visitors can see while being in Langeais Chateu, some of the most interesting ones are its paintings and tapestries. Most of the paintings available for tourists to observe were created by Luini, and show some typical elements of the style predominant at the poque when they were created. The tapestries are exhibited within the walls in such a way the castle visitors could even touch them if they wanted, allowing them to observe them from very close.

The Value of Antique Wood Stoves

Antique wood stoves provide decoration and can still be used for heating and cooking. Stoves from as long ago as the 1870s are available for purchase in antique stores and over the Internet.  Antique wood stoves are collectors items that are very valuable to some people.

They are also great additions to restored homes, hotels, or museums.

There are many different types of antique wood stoves available. Some of the most popular types are Victorian models and pot bellied stoves.

Victorian wood stoves are made of cast iron and feature a wood-burning oven. They were often used for cooking and were usually kept in the kitchen. They are often large and rectangular; some have shelves and ledges above the oven that are used for storage. Victorian wood stoves are often elaborately decorated, with silver and gold inlays complimenting the iron body.

Pot belly wood stoves are shorter, squatter and smaller, and can be distinguished by their barrel-shaped body. Pot belly stoves have a round oven in the center of the body. These stoves are usually less elaborate than Victorian stoves, but they are still decorated with engravings and designs.

Many antique wood stoves are still in working order. People often use these stoves to cook food or heat their homes. The basic designs of most types of wood stoves have not been changed much over the last century, so people who use antique wood stoves are not giving up any type of modern convenience.

Antique wood stoves look great in hotels with a historic dcor. Many tourist attractions such as museums and old restored homes have antique wood stoves on display.

Antique wood stoves are valuable for several reasons. They are rare, making them collectors items. Most of them are still functional and they can add authenticity to historically themed hotels and tourist spots.
