Prepaid Cellular phoneswhy not save some money! Mike YeagerPrepaid cellular phone means you pay in advance for your monthly anytime minutes that you will be using. It has the flexibility and freedom to stay in touch while also staying within your budget, especially for the students. Its good choice only for occasional use since they are more expensive than monthly billed cellular phone plans. Nevertheless, it eliminates the need for constant calls to customer service representatives to determine the number of minutes remaining in a monthly plan. Many first time cellular users regret not using pre paid cellular phone services.

Prepaid cellular phones are the best solution for someone with poor or no credit history. It allows you the freedom to have a cellular phone but with none of the hassles - no credit check, no contracts and things like that. It still has a lot of options that a regular plan do; such as, account activities, transaction, airtime balancewhich shows how many minutes you use, how many minutes are left and when you need to purchase and redeem more airtime, so you control your costs.

Prepaid cellular phones are usually good as the minutes that are unused rolls over to the following month. Surveys indicate that there are currently fifty five thousands new cellular phone activations a day. So when you shop and compare prepaid cellular phone services, make sure you find a plan that matches your calling pattern.

How often do you need to talk and for how long? Check a few months worth of phone bills to give you a general idea. You might be surprised just how much time you use. But if your usage varies widely every month, look for a plan that lets you retain, or "roll," your unused minutes. And when will you be placing calls? The ever-popular nights and weekends? Or the more usual weekday 9 to 5? Companies are much more willing to give deals on low-priority calling times, but that doesn't help if you need the phone for business hours.

Before you buy youll also want to examine your calling patterns. If you need a prepaid cellular phone to call across town to keep in touch with your family, you'll have much different needs -- and expenses -- than someone who is using the phone for business while traveling.

Antique Porcelain Doll

OneAntique Porcelain Doll

Theres a special place in the world of antiques for antique porcelain
dolls. Works of art in miniature, antique porcelain dolls are a
portrayal of fashion and self-concept for the age they were created in.
Antique porcelain dolls are both delicate and surprisingly durable. It
is a wonder that any of these dolls survived the ages at all,
considering that they were created as a plaything for children! No
doubt many of them were played with a great deal by the little girls
they belonged to, our great-great grandmothers, in years long past. It
is just as certain that many antique porcelain dolls were acquired just
for their beauty, to be put on display in a protective case and not for
playing with! These dolls hold their place as an art form.

As with most antiques, the value of antique porcelain dolls is tied
closely to the condition they are in. Porcelain, while being resistant
to decay, does chip easily. Paint can be rubbed off with excessive
handling. These mishaps are not unusual in antique porcelain dolls, and
finding a doll without them is rare. Antique porcelain dolls command a
high price even with a few faults. The doll needs to be in good
condition generally, and any repairs slight and unnoticeable. Whether
the doll has its original hair and original clothing, and if the body is
original to the head and not a replacement, are all factors to be
considered in determining the value of an antique porcelain doll.

If you have any Antique Clocks...keep them. They may be valuable keepsakes!

Been shopping for antique clocks lately? Its strange that when something is new they are fascinating and cutting edge. Then they become a common place. After a century or so, they become rare, untouchable museum pieces or antiques. An antique clock is not different. It acts as a representation of the time past, a reflection of the culture transformed. Or it may just look great!

Antique clocks may be bought for several reasons. Perhaps to recreate an era, possibly as an investment or just to enhance the aesthetic value of a wall. Antique grand father clocks are one of the things that can be bought, provided there is space; lots and lots of space. A good place for an antique clock would be a castle or a mansion of course, but isnt your home also your castle. If one has a romantic bent, one could purchase antique French clocks.

Having antique clocks at home is not without its share of problems. The fact that they are old and require maintenance and care can be a source of challenges. For instance, they may stop reading accurate time. Either running few minutes (or even a few hours ahead) or simply slowing down to a stop. A good idea would be to have a shop near by that provides maintenance and, of course, This will insure that your antique clocks are well kept and functioning smoothly.

Why We Treasure Antiques!

Americans treasure their past, which is one reason antiques are so popular. Antiques are relics of a time now gone. We look back on our history with pride. Furniture, jewelry, even automobiles that were in common use many years ago, are prized antiques today, simply because of the era they came from. Elegant styles ruled the day in years gone past, and pride in workmanship.

In this day and age of mass production and cutting costs, antiques make a marked statement in a display of expert quality and beauty, the handiwork of master craftsmen and women. The true value of antiques is not necessarily tied to beauty though. Antique farm equipment, for example, is not especially lovely to look at, but holds its value because of what it is: a piece of our past.

Those who own antiques know that they need special care. Antiques need to be properly looked after. Just because an antique has lasted for a hundred years doesnt mean it will last another hundred years, unless the owner has some idea of how to care for it. Furniture is susceptible to its environment. Antique furniture and paintings should be kept out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Keeping the room temperature even can be a challenge, because shifts in temperature can warp wood, yet many household heating systems dry out the air in a room, which isnt good for antiques either. With a little know-how, it is possible to prolong the life of your treasured antiques. It is well worth the trouble, because whether an antique is intended for resale, or to be handed down to future generations, its value is affected greatly by the condition its in.
